Stretching & Strengthening
Here at Schertz Chiropractic, we recommend stretching after an injury to aid in the healing process. Performing certain chiropractic stretches strengthens the muscles around the injured area which increases flexibility and function. These types of stretches can also help prevent future injuries. If you experience any pain during stretching, either decrease the intensity of the stretch, or discontinue the stretch until you are able to speak with your chiropractor.
